Paper Submission Instructions
The ITSC 2026 conference committee welcomes authors to submit proposals for papers beginning December the 1st, 2025.
Please submit your paper via Papercept (https://its.papercept.net) by March the 1st, 2026 (23:59 PT).
You can access the reviews and remarks from the associate editor through your Papercept account. Please consider these comments and suggestions carefully when preparing your paper. Verify that all metadata on Papercept, including title, abstract, and author list, is accurate, as this information will be used in the official program.
Author Registration
In accordance with the IEEE ITSS conference policies:
- At least one author per paper must register for the conference before uploading the final version.
- All presenting authors must be registered by May the 15th, 2026.
- To have your paper included in the final program, at least one author must complete registration. In the (rare) event that the presenter is unable to attend the conference for any reason, it is the presenter’s responsibility to ensure that the paper is presented by a qualified colleague.
Manuscript Preparation and Submission Guidelines
- IEEE Template and PDF Requirements
- Use the official IEEE conference templates:
https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates
Or use the Overleaf IEEE ITSS template from over here:
https://www.overleaf.com/read/hkjvkqrgpdrf#e522c1 - Submit only US Letter-sized PDF files (version 1.4 or higher), searchable, with all fonts embedded and no password protection
- The expected length is 6 pages. A maximum of 8 pages is allowed (2 extra pages with additional page charges).
- The IEEE template contains a fake copyright notice in the bottom-left corner of the first page. You must remove this notice before submission.
- Use the official IEEE conference templates:
- Anonymized Primary Submission
To ensure a proper double-blind review process:- Submit only the anonymized primary paper for the initial submission.
- Remove identifying details by:
- Commenting out all author names and affiliations on the title page.
- Removing acknowledgments that might reveal identities.
- Avoiding phrases like “In [nn], we discussed …” that self-identify. Use neutral phrasing instead (“As discussed in [nn] …”).
- References cannot be anonymized, but do not refer to your own work in a way that reveals authorship.
- Use of Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Manuscripts generated by LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT) are prohibited.
- Light editing for grammar or spelling using LLMs is allowed.
- During submission, you will certify that your paper represents original author work.
For more information, please check the IEEE Author Center.
Manuscript Submissions via Papercept
Prospective authors for all types of contributions must submit the following information via Papercept/Paperplaza:
- Type of Submission: authors should indicate, in the manuscript submission form, whether their work corresponds to a Regular Paper, Invited Session Paper, Workshop Paper, or Tutorial Paper. To this end, codes for Regular, Invited, Workshop, and Tutorial Papers will be announced soon on the conference website.
- Title of the manuscript.
- Short abstract of the manuscript (<200 words).
- PINs of ALL co-authors of the manuscript: PINs can be sought or registered HERE.
- Manuscript file: PDF file (version 1.4 or higher) with all fonts embedded, in US Letter page size, searchable, and with no password protection. Final papers sent to be part of the program of the conference MUST be formatted according to the instructions provided HERE.
All papers submitted through Papercept (Regular, Invited, Workshop, and Tutorial Papers) will be peer-reviewed. All the accepted papers, if they are presented at the conference, will be published in IEEE Xplore and are eligible for the journal special issues arranged for the conference.
