Before starting your registration, please note:
- For authors of accepted papers only:
- Log in to PaperCept (https://its.papercept.net/conferences/scripts/start.pl), select “Submit a contribution to ITSC 2026” → “Final submissions”, and update the number of pages before paper payment. The page count of the final submission must match the page count of the initial accepted submission.
- Keep your PaperCept Paper ID(s) ready if you plan to upload accepted paper(s).
- Registration payment must be completed first. Paper upload will be enabled automatically upon full payment of the correct registration fee.
- Final paper upload deadline: May 15, 2026.
- Please have your PaperCept PIN and password ready to log in and register.
- If you do not have a PIN or forgot your password, use the PIN Wizard to request a new PIN or update your contact details: https://its.papercept.net/conferences/scripts/pinwizard.pl
- A valid credit/debit card is required. Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard (credit or debit), and American Express. Bank transfer and wire transfer are not accepted.
- After completing registration, you can download or print your receipt by clicking your name in the menu bar (top-right) and selecting “My transactions.”

Registration Inclusions
Full Registration
- Upload of 1 accepted paper to PaperCept. Additional papers can be uploaded (if the same first author) for a discounted fee per paper.
- Download access to Conference Proceedings (PDFs of all papers).

Important Note: Student registration does not include paper upload rights. To upload a paper, select Full Registration and complete payment by May 15, 2026. Student registration opens on May 1, 2026.
Special Registration Arrangement prepared for International Participants unable to come to Italy
- A full registration fee must be paid for each accepted paper.
- A special arrangement has been made to let international participants unable to come to Italy to upload a pre-recorded video presentation of their papers between July 15, 2026 and August 15, 2026. However, a final version of the accepted paper must be uploaded to PaperCept by the previously set date i.e. by May 15, 2026.
- A separate pre-recorded video presentation must be prepared and uploaded for each accepted paper. The maximum permitted duration of the pre-recorded video presentation is 15 minutes as long as its total size is lower than 100 Mb.
- Link to the downloadable Conference Proceedings including pdf files of all conference papers will be made available.
- Link to viewing pre-recorded video presentations, if submitted by other international participants unable to come to Italy, will be made available. This access will be made available from September 15, 2025 up until October 15, 2025.
Workshop/Symposium/Tutorial Only Registration
- Access to all Workshop/Symposium/Tutorial sessions.
- Refreshments and lunch on the workshop/symposium/tutorial day.
- Welcome Reception on Tuesday September 15, 2026.
Registration Fees
All fees listed below are in US Dollars and include 22% VAT (Value Added Tax of the Italian Government).
Note that due to rounding process, some fees do not add up to whole numbers.
Additional Fees
- Cost per paper for additional paper upload: $800.
- Excess Page Charges: $120.00 per page (maximum of two beyond the nominal six-page limit).
NOTE: To pay for excess pages, you must first complete the final submission information about the paper in your author workspace and then return to registration. Without that step, the excess page fee will not appear in your cart!
Notes
- Onsite attendance registration is available.
- Online attendance is not available. Live streaming and/or video streaming of conference and workshop sessions will not be available.
- Accepted paper submissions: max 6 pages + 2 paid pages (6+2 is a strict hard limit).
- Each accepted Journal Paper Presentation, Industry Track Contribution, Late Breaking Results Poster requires Full Registration.
Registration Policy Notes
- A Paper Upload: The Conference Full Registration fee must be paid first to enable the upload of your accepted paper(s) as per details in the table above. If more than one of your papers is accepted, and if you are listed as the first co-author on each of them, you will then be granted with an opportunity to upload each of your additional paper for specially reduced upload fee. Otherwise, a full registration fee must be paid for each additional paper for which you are not listed as its first co-author.
- Page Limit: Submissions consisting of up to six pages are accepted. Additional two pages are permitted for an additional fee, as shown in the registration table above. This page limit (6+2 pages) is hard limit. Longer submissions will not be accepted.
- No Conference Day registration is available: Workshop/Symposium/Tutorial Only registration is available separately, but Workshop/Symposium/Tutorial only is already included in Full Registration.
- Registration & Payment Method: On-line registration & on-line credit/debit card payment is the only registration & payment method available. No internet banking nor EFT is available. Credit/Debit Card Types: Visa and Master Credit/Debit Cards as well as Amex credit card will only be accepted.
- Student Registration: A single student registration does not allow the paper upload. Student proof is required (ID or confirmation letter) and must be sent to Registration Chair Bianca Caiazzo via bianca.caiazzo@unimercatorum.it or bi.caiazzo94@gmail.com. The organizer may verify proof before granting access to the proceedings.
- No-Show Policy: Papers not presented (in person or by pre-recorded video) risk exclusion from the conference proceedings. If the domestic primary paper author is unable to attend, please arrange a co-author or other colleagues to present the paper. For international participants unable to come to Italy a special arrangement has been made to let them upload a pre-recorded video presentation of their paper. The upload of their video presentation must be completed between July 15, 2026 and August 15, 2026, while their accepted paper(s) must be uploaded to PaperCept by May 15, 2026 assuming that the conference registration fee is paid prior to it. The maximum permitted duration of the pre-recorded video presentation is 15 minutes as long as its total size is lower than 100 Mb.
- A Pro Forma Receipt: A confirmation of your Registration payment, will be made available for the download from PaperCept at the end of the registration fee payment process. To print/download the Receipt, click on your name in the menu bar of the PaperCept (far right) and select “My transactions”.
- Paper upload to PaperCept: After you complete your registration process in full, the upload your paper(s) to PaperCept will be automatically enabled. You must upload the final version of each of your paper by May 15, 2026.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
- All cancellations incur a 10% handling fee on the canceled item/service.
- Additionally:
- Until June 1, 2026: 50% of the registration fee is forfeited.
- From June 2, 2026: 100% forfeited (No refund available).
- Approved refunds follow this cancellation policy and may take additional processing time.
Limitation of Liability
IEEE ITSC 2026 may cancel the conference without notice or compensation due to force majeure, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters (fire, flood, earthquake, eruptions, hurricane, severe weather).
- Strikes or industrial actions.
- Power or communication infrastructure failure.
- Service provider non-performance.
- Cyber or terrorist attacks.
- Governmental regulations or legislative changes.
- Geopolitical developments or war impacting participant safety.
- Any event that makes cancellation reasonably necessary.
In such cases, the organizer is not liable for reimbursement of paid fees.
