Traveling to Canada
To attend a conference in Canada 2024, you need a Valid Passport and typically an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) or a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV), also known as a visitor visa. An eTA or TRV visa allows you to visit Canada for a temporary purpose, such as attending a conference. Find out if you need a visa to travel to Canada with your passport!
Visa Letter Instructions
For Authors
If you are a paper author, you can find the template in your author workspace on the PaperCept system, by following the following steps:
- Click the link to open the ITSS Conference Management Page: https://its.papercept.net/conferences/scripts/start.pl
- Under “Conferences in 2024, ITSC 2024”, click “login” in the far right column to sign on your access page by using your PIN and password.
- Go to “Access a workspace” in the bottom of the page and click “Enter Author or proposer of submission ….”. You will see your accepted paper(s).
- In the far right column, use pull down menu “Choose an option” to select “Request an acceptance letter”.
- Follow instructions on this page to fill in your personal data and download your letter in pdf signed by the General Chair.
For Non-Authors
To streamline and expedite the visa letter process, please follow the two steps:
- Register for IEEE ITSC 2024 and pay the registration fee in full.
- Once you have completed your registration and have paid in full you, fill-in the below form to request a VISA/Invitation Letter.
Apply for a Canadian Visa as soon as IEEE ITSC 2024 Registration opens in order to get the confirmation letter.
